Welcome to the FSOS Diary

The goal of this site is to provide a forum for notifying members about what's going on in the club. We may also find ourselves picking up on topics related to these activites. For example, the Sessions that run on the second Sunday of every month are a perfect segue to a series of articles on Irish Traditional Music. There must be a treasure trove of photos and stories out there covering the past 44 years of the clubs existence. If you have photos we can include them too. The only limits are those we put on ourselves.

Running an event? You can contact the editor with the details and photos right from this page. The space is also available for announcements such as births, birthdays, anniversaries etc. Did a group go on an outing, bus trip or vacation? Tell us about it. Whether it's shuffleboard, darts or over-80's softball, people always want to know that there's somebody out there worse than them. The only thing we're really trying to stay away from are such notices as "Antique bath for sale by old lady with brass legs!"

Should it turn out that we don't need this site then not to worry... we'll take it down. But if you want it to succeed, you have to get involved. We're looking for what's going on around the club. Whether it's work parties, dances, club travels. We're looking for all activities related to FSOS. We're looking for what it is you want to see in this space.

If you have just discovered this site. Please take a moment to forward the link to other members or folks interested in the FSOS. It's your club, it's your time and this is your FSOS Diary.
